Those we support also have access to a number of different home features and facilities, such as exercise classes, landscaped gardens and a TV lounge, as well as electric profiling beds, a nurse call system and supplementary services like a hairdressing salon. – the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service. Dementia Care
Hickathrift House is a purpose-built residential care home close to Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Individuals that have been diagnosed with dementia and are no longer able to live independently at home due to requiring specialist 24-hour care services. For the past year residents of Hickathrift House Care Home and locals from the Marshland St James community have been attending a monthly book club. The dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality care to each individual living at the home.
We were made very welcome by all the staff and residents that we met and enjoyed a time of scripture reading and reflection. We were very impressed by the positive response of your activities coordinator to our initial email approach. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope we can come again some time. I was very impressed with all the staff during my visit there.

Our Memory Lane community specializes in innovative dementia care to enable every resident to thrive in an environment designed to stimulate and enrich their lives whilst giving families peace of mind and security. Our person-centred team is experienced at responding to the challenges that dementia presents, at whichever stage of the journey. Communities are broken up into separate units with a family feel so people can feel safe and comfortable.
As an experienced home manager, I fully understand how difficult the transition into new surroundings can be which is why my highly qualified team and I are committed to fully support you and your family throughout this journey and always. You must have lived in Germany on a residence permit for at least 8 years or you must have lived in Germany on a residence permit for 7 years and attended an integration course . It was lovely to see so many smiling faces of both staff and residents. The staff all got involved with supplying refreshments and also dancing with the residents.
All the staff are observant to their needs and the environment is clean, with a homely feel to it. The home is very welcoming and friendly and my mother is well looked after and cared for. The Christmas party was well organised and all residents and staff were happy and involved.
